Liverpool Echo - News - Liverpool Local News - Liverpool gangster James "Pancake" Taylor bailed after being questioned over gangland execution of Nicky Ayers: "James 'Pancake' Taylor, 30, was released after several hours of questioning over the shooting of Nicky Ayers, 46, in West Derby in the early hours of yesterday.
Taylor was arrested during an early morning raid at his Kirkdale home.
Ayers was killed by a gunman who shot him at least three times in South Cantril Avenue at 12.10am on Thursday."
