Euro Weekly News | Man sentenced for killing mother’s lover | Costa del Sol | News: "21-YEAR-OLD man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for murdering his mother’s partner with a hammer in May 2007. The two men were working together as builders on an urbanisation in Mijas Costa at the time. The attacker allegedly felt humiliated and abused by the victim while they both lived in the same household.
The two apparently had a violent argument, during which the accused hit the victim in the head twice with a hammer, knocking him to the floor. He then hit him eleven more times fracturing his skull and killing him. The victim was 29 years old at the time. The accused will also have to pay the victim’s wife and son 240,00 euros compensation."
