The Australian man faces a lese-majeste charges for a book he wrote in 2005 insulting Thailand’s Royal family.The Australian embassy identified the Australian man as a 41 year old Harry Nicolaides from Melbourne, Australia, who was shocked there was an arrest warrant out for him when he tried to fly out from Bangkok to Australia.Lese-majeste is a crime that can carry a jail sentence of up to 15 years in Thailand.Police identified the book written as “Verisimilitude” with a published dated of June 2005.
