Goa constable wanted for drug-mafia link surrenders- Hindustan Times: "Goa Police constable, who was evading arrest for over two months in a police-drug peddler nexus case, in which six of his colleagues and seniors are behind bars, surrendered before a local court Friday.
Sanjay Parab surrendered to the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Court at Mapusa, about 10 km from Panaji, Deputy Superintendent of Police or DSP (Crime Branch) Chandrakant Salgaonkar said.
The 30-year-old will be arrested once he is handed over to Crime Branch by the court, the DSP said.
Parab was amongst seven policemen booked by Crime Branch for alleged links with Israeli drug peddlers Yaniv Benaim alias Atala and David Driham alias Dudu."
